Chester County Reading Olympics

Guidelines and Responsibilities

In order to create an equitable and fun event, certain rules have been established to address the size and grade variations of individual schools. In order to participate, the school must have one building contact and each team must have two adult volunteers. One adult volunteer will be a team chaperone and the other will be moderator/scorekeeper. The assignment of moderator or scorekeeper will be given after registration.

Parents are invited to attend the competition as spectators. Due to the large crowds and nature of the competition, the attendance of preschool children is discouraged. Spectators may not interfere in the questioning or scoring processes.
